We are modelers.

(A Manifesto)

Modelers are modern learners, students, teachers, managers, leaders, coaches, salespeople, professors, apprentices, speakers, entrepreneurs, trainers, negotiators, athletes; anyone who is driven by curiosity and the desire to improve themselves.

Basically, anyone who chooses to become better by:

  1. learning powerful skills (that improve their results at home and/or at work),
  2. and make life more enjoyable for themselves and others (because these skills make them happier, healthier, and/or wealthier).

If you can build a skillset that enables you to deliver superior results and that makes life more enjoyable for yourself and others, people will value you more.

As a lover. As an employee. As a business partner. As a friend. As a supplier. As a manager.

The modeler believes that building skills doesn’t happen the same way as building knowledge.

You MUST act.

Modelers build valuable and rare skill sets, where 100% of the skill acquisition comes from modeling ONE outstanding performer; the exemplar.

It’s a simple, powerful dynamic:

  1. Identify an outstanding performer,
  2. Model him/her and earn a valuable skill as a result (in a fraction of the time it would normally take).

This dynamic means you are able to compress decades into days — sometimes even hours — because the exemplars you are modeling are offering you the CORRECT WAY of acting from the get-go. They have already figured out what to do in order to get results.

That’s the formula for achieving anything in record time right there.

If you’re a modeler — if you see yourself as a lifelong learner, whose main capital is an ever-increasing skill stack, and you want to master the art of skill acquisition — you’re in the right place.

I help people learn how to model outstanding performers, performers who get WAY BETTER THAN AVERAGE results. Outstanding doesn’t necessarily mean the “best” or the “only” ones — it simply means that they’re in a league of their own.

As modelers, this is what we care about. This dynamic is build right into my logo:

(From left to right.)

  1. Channel your emotions, the fuel of all your actions and behaviors (and the cornerstone of your effectiveness),
  2. Improve your skill stack and productivity by modeling the patterns of behavior (and absorbing them unconsciously) of outstanding performers,
  3. DOUBLE YOUR ODDS OF RAPID SUCCESS AND FULFILMENT. (I define “success” simply as the ability to produce the result you want consistently and fulfilment as a feeling of satisfaction with your life.) When you have that ability, the inevitable outcome is that you achieve WHAT YOU WANT.)

Best-selling author and cartoonist Scott Adams once said:

“Every skill you acquire doubles your odds of success.” — Scott Adams

...but I believe RAPID needs to be part of that statement; to double your odds of rapid success. Otherwise, what’s the damn point? We’re in the time compression business, not in the take forever business.

Point three above is the driving force of modelers.

People like us.

Most NLPers are so busy talking about solving personal problems, so busy focusing on therapy and changework, that they fail to communicate that the most important gift NLP has to offer is modeling outstanding performers.

Modelers are driven by a higher purpose that transcends the therapy and hypnosis world that suffuses the internet and live trainings today. A world focused exclusively on fixing people who believe in a story as to why they can't achieve what they want.

Standardized NLP trainings with the only motivation to “certify practitioners”. A world where a certificate is more important than actual skill and attitude.

A world run by trainers who have little to show for in terms of skills besides coaching and training.

No thanks.

That’s not me.

I don’t seek more certifications. I seek skills; actual abilities.

Skills are the new certificates.

I’m a proud modeler.

I choose never to be beholden to some organization or certifying body, only to my fellow students, my true companions who enjoy the journey of learning and skill-building as much as I do.

True modelers choose not to be in the certification business.

God knows the world doesn’t need yet another certificate for the lazy, personality-free, repressed employee who just wants a piece of paper to justify a raise.

I’m not in the NLP course business. Courses aren’t effective at helping people build skills. They’re not effective; otherwise every person who participated in a course would become skilled. You and I both know it’s not the case.

I’m in the modeling experience business.

I’m in the guiding business, the human-to-human business of crafting an experiential journey of “doing” for students who truly care.

The few.

Other oddballs like me.

As Tony Robbins says, “One reason so few of us achieve what we truly want is that we never direct our focus; we never concentrate our power. Most people major in minor things.”

Tony Robbins in interview with Tom Bilyeu — Master Hapiness (May 14, 2017)

It turns out we probably don’t need another course (surprise!).

We don’t even need another book (are you serious?!).

We just need one solid exemplar (honest!).

One outstanding performer.

One person who does what we want to be able to do.

One person whose behavior we can model.

Who might have spent years refining their ability to deliver a particular result.

Fortunately, there are people in the world who actually produce, day-in, day-out, the very results we want to be able to, as opposed to simply teaching courses about them.

As modelers, we seek out the doers who demonstrate through their behavior that they actually possess the skills that we desire for ourselves. Who deliver results in the real world, not just in classrooms or seminar venues.

I am a modeler who serves NLP students like you. I am a modeler who serves the oddball few. (You’re an oddball, right?)

I’ve been modeling outstanding performers since 2001 (19 years and counting). I’ve been helping NLP students do the same since 2007.

I believe modeling is a key to improving our life and making a difference in a world of superficiality and distractions.

MY MISSION: I guide those who guide others. I help coaches, leaders and trainers move beyond rational learning through courses and books, and into unconscious, intuitive skill acquisition through modeling experiences.

If you have the desire to be a modeler, I think you’ll love what I have for you here at dailyNLP.

I create best-in-class NLP education that’s not just another rehashed xerox-copy of what’s already available for free on a hundred million web pages about NLP.

I create programs made with passion that people care about going through. Programs our oddball students enjoy so much that they tell others about.

I help leaders level-up their skills.

I help leaders like you become better and smarter learners; I help you unleash your unconscious learning capabilities.

If this resonates with you, stick around.

So glad you’ve stopped by. It means the world to me.

Look around my blog. See if what I have is for you. Reach out and say “Hi!” anytime. I read all my email (big surprise, I know!).

If you are committed to the journey and care about having a bigger impact in the world, I’m here to support you.

Welcome to my NLP modeling world.
